"The most important thing I did in the Choose Health course was keep a calendar of the words I was speaking about myself. From doing that, I realized how many times my automatic response to a situation was to criticize myself! Now that I know I was doing it, I make the choice not to. I am so thankful we were assigned to keep that calendar." - Joelle (12)
"I enjoyed the Choose Health course very much. Especially the hands-on activities in the curriculum. As well, I appreciated the inclusion of many untouched subjects and real life explanations of hard to comprehend concepts. Thank you for putting so much effort, energy and love into this subject.- Julia (15)
As a homeschool mother, I can say that a huge win for our pre-teen (7th grade) daughter was the decision to use the Choose Health courses. Because of what she learned through her research on nutrients, she made the choice to start her mornings with fresh juices.
She shared with me that a big takeaway from the class is to apply wisdom in dating, and why it's important to have boundaries when it comes to physical expressions of affection.
I appreciate that my daughter was given important information in regards to a range of topics focused on health, and after each lesson she was presented with a choice for a healthy path for herself. Because of the way the material was taught and presented, 'Choosing Health' always seemed like the best option for her life. I am very grateful for this wonderful curriculum and the tools it provided!
